Travel Dates Established

We have just received word that we will travel to meet Nick (yes Nicholas is his name) on December 1 and will be with him on December 3 and 4. The tentative interary is as follows:

Leave U.S.A. on December 1
Arrive in Moscow on December 2
Overnight train to Niznhy Novograd
Arrive in Niznhy on December 3
Depart Niznhy on December 5
Back in the U.S. on December 6

Whew! What a whirlwind, but we are excited that we will be able to meet Nick before Christmas. We don't have pictures or a specific referral yet (i.e., which child is actually ours), but we are told that will be forthcoming soon (hopefully before we leave) and if so we will post the picture on the blog. After this trip we will come home for about 2 months and then travel back to Russia to bring him home. The wait will be really hard. Keep us in your prayers.
