New Referral and New Hope

We have received a second referral and word from the pediatrician that he looks healthy. We will travel to meet Nik on December 22 and will be with him on December 25. Merry Christmas! Our itinerary is as follows:

Leave U.S.A. on December 22
Arrive in Moscow on December 23
Overnight train to Niznhy Novograd
Arrive in Niznhy on December 24
Meetings at the Ministry of Education and Orphanage on December 24 and 25
Depart Niznhy on December 25
Back in the U.S. on December 26

We are excited to meet Nik on Christmas, but its all happening very fast and during a very busy time of the year. Trey was fine when he learned that we would exchange gifts at home a week early.

We will post some pictures after we return from Russia. After this trip we will come home for about 2 months and then travel back to Russia to bring him home. The wait will be really hard. Keep us in your prayers.
